Garuna is focused on training indigenous Church leaders, pastors, deaconesses, and lay leaders for the emerging Lutheran Churches in the region. LISA - Lutheran Bible Teaching and Training
The Luther Institute Southeast Asia (LISA) is a ministry of The Garuna Foundation that is dedicated to helping teach God's Word in Southeast Asia. This Bible teaching and training ministry assists the Thailand Concordia Lutheran Church (TCLC), the Cambodia Lutheran Church (CLC), and other regional Lutheran partners in the training of indigenous and national pastors, deaconesses, Garuna School teachers, and lay leaders for service in their respective churches.
LISA's ministry is to help provide the curriculum and teaching necessary for its nearly 90 students. Our students come from several ethnic groups and countries. LISA's goal is to train indigenous leaders who will, in turn, teach fellow country ministry leaders, thus significantly expanding their impact.

LISA - The new Luther Institute - Cambodia (LI-C) Training Center is Completed!
Garuna is excited to announce the completion of its new Bible training center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The LISA branch in Cambodia is named the Luther Institute - Cambodia (LI- C)
LISA is thankful to God for this facility that will be used, by God's grace, to train and equip the members and leaders of the Cambodia Lutheran Church (CLC).
