An Invitation to participate in Garuna's 25th Anniversary Campaign
Garuna means grace, mercy, and compassion in the languages of Southeast Asia. The sharing of this Good News of Jesus has been and will remain Garuna's focus. We are dedicated to bringing this Good News of life and forgiveness to many and also to the training of local and national Biblical Lutheran leaders.
This campaign is designed to thank God for His incredible grace, mercy and compassion given to us through Jesus' death and resurrection. The funds graciously given to this campaign will be used as you direct Garuna in one of the following ways:
- Where Needed Most
- New and Expanding Global Ministry Opportunities
- The Luther Institute Southeast Asia (LISA) Training Ministry
- Garuna Christian School Ministry
- Garuna's Long-Term Endowment Fund

Garuna's Mission Statement
The mission of the Garuna Foundation is to support and encourage the proclamation of the grace, mercy and compassion of Jesus Christ to the peoples of Thailand, Cambodia and surrounding countries.

Garuna's Mission Emphases
Luther Institute Southeast Asia (LISA)
The Garuna Foundation operates The Luther Institute Southeast Asia (LISA). LISA focuses on the training of local national pastors, deaconesses, teachers, and congregational leaders in coordination with local national Lutheran Church bodies. LISA is a non-residential Bible training ministry with a Bible-based curriculum taught by local and international teachers.

Indigenous Lutheran Church Development
The Garuna Foundation is committed to the development and growth of local national Lutheran Church bodies in Southeast Asia. The Thailand Concordia Lutheran Church (TCLC) and the Cambodia Lutheran Church (CLC) are emerging Lutheran Churches in the region that are developing and growing in Christ.
Garuna Christian Schools & Garuna Kids
The Garuna Foundation is blessed to partner with the Cambodian Lutheran Church (CLC) in the Garuna Christian Schools (GCS) & Garuna Kids ministry. The Garuna Kids receive tutoring in math, the Khmer language, English, and most importantly, they learn of the love of Jesus each day.
